This class includes solid cardio, conditioning exercises to strengthen the muscles, and stretching to enhance flexibility. Using many of the toys in the toolbox, from cuffs to buoys to bands and balls, get your heart rate up and tone the tough spots. A multi-level class where you choose full buoyancy or impact. Join us in the lap pool for a high intensity, high energy class in the deep water that is PERFECT for anyone interested in a cross training workout that is easy on the joints. With the use of a flotation device, you will be able to easily incorporate interval training in a suspended environment providing you with both a cardiovascular and resistance training workout that just might surprise you. 12:00 pm Beginning Swimming Workout
Learn how to use swimming as a workout. This hour is geared for adults who are not familiar with swimming workouts or for those getting back into swimming. Coaches will assist swimmers with stroke corrections and refinements. All four competitive strokes will be addressed. Must have knowledge of the freestyle stroke to attend, but it does not have to be perfect! One of our workout goals is to complete a one mile swim over the course of an hour.
