The Pilates Method of exercise develops muscle strength while increasing flexibility, which allows the body to increase in strength without “bulking up” the muscles. The foundations of the Pilates Method are focused use of the body’s core. Precise execution of movements can benefit people of all ability levels, including competitive athletes and those focusing on injury recovery and rehabilitation.

SELF-CONFIDENCE, improved body awareness, and reduced stress are just a few of the many benefits of Pilates.

The Pilates Program at Lakeshore offers private and duet sessions, as well as reformer classes with the finest instructors available. Each instructor has a minimum of 750 hours of certification.
