The ‘focus’ of our tennis program:

Lakeshore Athletic Club is home to a very friendly tennis community. The focus of our tennis program is to engage members in a wide-range of tennis programs for health and enjoyment. We have competitive clinics, fun and easy drop-in clinics, and often hold get-to-know-each other socials and events for members to bring along friends and play tennis.

Our junior program is focused on developing all levels. We create a fun and challenging environment for beginners to learn the game, and also have more intermediate and advanced clinics for juniors who wish to advance their game and play competitively for high school, USTA, and even college programs.

Graham Hill, our Tennis Director, has had a lifelong experience with tennis. From age 8, he began playing competitively, achieving high ranks at every level all the way through college and on to New Zealand for a year. He considers himself a ‘student’ of the game, still playing competitively and going to professional tournaments to study the game.

Clinics, leagues, and other programs:

Lakeshore Athletic Club, seasonally, has weekly evening clinics, daytime ladies’ clinics, and weekend clinics for adults anywhere from beginner to a 4.0/4.5 rating level. These clinics are offered in either 6-week or drop-in format.

Lakeshore holds 4-week singles’ and doubles’ leagues throughout the summer for a variety of playing levels. For more information, contact Graham Hill at ghill@powerwellness.com, or call the front desk at (303) 729-4300.

The club will proudly hold your USTA team matches on our three courts; however, availability is very limited. Please inquire as soon as possible for the 2010 season, as we will only be accepting limited teams due to our capacity.

Finally, Lakeshore Athletic Club has a variety of programs for our juniors. We have after school clinics, weekend cardio and drill clinics, and have three 3-week summer tennis camps from June to August.
