Pilates

Lakeshore Athletic Club is committed to providing the very highest level of Pilates instruction available.

What is Pilates?

Pilates targets the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine to strengthen the body from the inside out in proper alignment. The goal is to achieve a balance of strength and flexibility, a balance of opposing muscle groups and better balance in the body when moving through all of life’s activities. The Pilates method can benefit people of all ability levels, including competitive athletes and those focusing on injury recovery and rehabilitation.

Self-confidence, improved body awareness, and reduced stress are just a few of the many benefits of Pilates.

What We Offer

Pilates mat classes are offered complimentary with membership, and Pilates Reformer work is offered for an additional fee. All Pilates private and semi-private reformer training is available to members and non-members.
